From the Paper:
"The Catholic Church has to be like a mother to all religious traditions and cultures, kind and hospitable to all and hostile to none. The Church has to be hospitable to all and hostile to none in order to establish the kingdom of God and make this world into God's household of love. In the beginning I had a deep desire to know about the mission of the Church which is carried out in the cultural context of our country. The desire to know about my religious life in my own cultural context has created in me an immense joy. It is because of my unforgettable experiences with my Hindu friends who continuously encourage me to become a good priest from the moment I joined in the seminary. I have also experienced their love and hospitality towards my family and my village though we are different in religion, language and culture. I have also seen in them a thirst for the divine when they come and pray in the Church in my village. This experience made me to strengthen my faith and witness that the grace of God is present in all religions and cultures in an unknown way inspiring them to long for the divine."
